The Flight Zone is the official fan club of University of Hartford women's basketball.
The mission of the Flight Zone is to serve as a fan base and support group for the University of Hartford women's basketball program, uniting fans, alumnae, players' families and the University community while providing its membership with privileges not afforded the general public. There is an Executive Board consisting of elected officers, appointed committee chairs and members-at-large. One designee each from the coaching staff and Department of Athletics will be ex-officio members of the Executive Board.
Chairs lead the following standing committees: Communications, Events, Game Day and Membership. (See committee descriptions below.)
Any Flight Zone member may belong to any or all committees.
Executive Board meets the first Tuesday of every month. Meetings are held in the second floor lounge of The Sports Center and are open to all Flight Zone members starting at 7:00PM.

Committees:
Alumnae
Generates alumae interest and participation in the Flight Zone and women's basketball program. Assists with the annual Alumnae Day.
Communications
Oversees all written, graphical and electronic correspondence and communication from the Flight Zone to its membership and other external venues.
Events
Plans and oversees regular events for the Flight Zone membership, including formal gatherings, trips, and team-fan functions.
Fundraising
Responsible for fundraising initiatives to support the Flight Zone and women's basketball program.
Game Day
Responsible for the game day planning and execution of Flight Zone events, including coordination of staffing. Works closely with the Events and Membership Committee chairs.
Membership
Conducts all business relating to Flight Zone membership and the benefits thereof. Develops innovative methods to attract and retain members.
